Zlinx Modbus radio modems do the job faster, easier, and cheaper. These industrial-grade wireless modems have a reputation for robust and reliable high-speed, secure communication. Providing wide area system coverage and transmission of critical data to remote sites, Zlinx transmits serial signals transparently up to 40 miles. Select the power level you need to punch through whatever distance and interference situations you encounter. Zlinx solutions operate within ISM 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Coupled with extraordinary receiver sensitivity, these radio modems can full-duplex over long distances and through the most difficult environments. Special filtering technology blocks cell phone, pager and other wireless interference. These modems operate from 9600 bps to 115.2kbps and transfer RS-232 /422/485 serial signals. Over-the-air data rate is 115kbps.

Each transceiver carries FCC approvals for use in the USA and IC approvals for Canada. The modems provide 256-bit AES encryption – the highest encryption standard available – for maximum security for sensitive data. Versatile power from 10 to 48 VDC or 18 to 30 VAC. The terminal block allows plug-and-play connection to RS-232/485. Other beneficial features to aid in troubleshooting include a Signal Strength Indicator and a Wireless Failure Output Indicator.

The compact, heavy-duty DIN rail mount industrial-grade case and components with a ½-wave dipole whip antenna saves panel or cabinet space. Rugged circuitry and wide temperature range (-40 to 85 degrees C) handles both indoor and outside applications.
